The Umbrella Story

This is parable that inspired the entire series. It illustrates the sometimes complex relationship between the manufacturer and the sales channel. Ideally, they work together to serve the customer, but often what once was a beautiful marriage can be threatened by greed, busyness and today, more than ever, even by technology. The heroes of the story, Bill and Joe, realize that together they can both flourish and focus on what they had forgotten about, the customer. As with every installment in the Umbrella Series, it concludes with inspiring lessons that are shared with the reader.
